Studies in Social Inequality

David B. Grusky, Paula England, series editors

This series is devoted to examining poverty and inequality in its many forms, including the takeoff in economic inequality, increasing spatial segregation, and ongoing changes in gender, racial, and ethnic inequality. The series is open to diverse methodologies and approaches, and submissions may take one of two forms: conceptual and theoretical works that allow for a sustained exploration of a topic; or shorter essay-length books that, freed from the technical requirements and elaborate documentation of the research monograph, address critical issues for a broad readership. Books can offer qualitative or quantitative analyses, and comparative or case-study approaches.
